The committee is responsible for preparing draft Palestinian standards related to machinery, vehicles, their systems, components, and accessories. This includes terminology and technical specifications concerning safety, performance, compatibility, interchangeability, maintenance, classification, testing methods, evaluation, labeling, and similar aspects.

Standards that fall under the scope of other technical committees are excluded from the committee’s scope of work.
