The importance of obtaining a supervision certificate lies in its role as proof of the products’ conformity to the Palestinian mandatory technical specifications and/or instructions. There are several benefits that can be achieved by obtaining a supervision certificate, which can be summarized as follows:

• It is an important means of directing consumers toward goods that comply with standard specifications, as well as contributing to increased sales.
• Giving priority to participation in official bids and tenders in accordance with the relevant Cabinet decision.
• Gaining the confidence of the Palestinian consumer.
• Building a suitable commercial foundation to facilitate the conclusion of local agreements.
• Enhancing the reputation and visibility of establishments that have obtained the mark locally.
• Supporting the national economy.
• Establishments are entitled to label certified products with the Palestinian Supervision Mark.

Submit an application for a supervision certificate to the institution's Quality and Qualification Department. The Quality and Qualification Department reviews the submitted application. The Quality Department conducts an initial inspection visit to the product, if necessary. The relevant department takes samples and tests them according to the approved standard specifications. If the test results meet the specifications, a technical committee is formed to review the file. If the test results do not meet the specifications, the product is asked to make the necessary adjustments and agree with the Quality and Qualification Department to retake new samples. The technical committee makes a recommendation to either approve the file and submit it to the technical committee, or reject the file and return it to the Quality and Qualification Department for necessary action. The supervisory committee approves the file, signs the agreement, grants the product a supervision certificate, and places it under periodic monitoring. Otherwise, the file is returned to the technical committee for necessary action. The product and production are subject to periodic monitoring, with samples taken and tested periodically and randomly, as specified in the supervision certification program for each product. The producer shall pay the fees and financial dues to the Corporation's account in accordance with the applicable fee collection regulations. Advertisements shall be published in two daily newspapers at the producer's expense and in the Corporation's publications. The producer shall be permitted to label his products with the supervisory mark in accordance with the relevant labeling system. The label shall be in the following form:

The Palestinian Supervision Certificate is renewed after a periodic inspection is conducted and the product meets the technical requirements.
