      It is consistent with Palestinian Standards Preparation Instructions No. (1) of 2003 and in accordance with Standards Law No. 6/2000.
      International standards are adopted as Palestinian standards based on ISO Guide 21-1:2005 with the aim of:
        • Helping to liberalize trade and enter new markets through standardization.
        • Ensuring the development of internationally agreed-upon technical specifications by experts from around the world.
        • Encouraging innovation, improvement, and competition to ensure product quality.
        • Reducing the cost of preparing specifications, which may require scientific research and high expertise.
        • Protecting consumers from substandard goods.
      • The project will be announced on the organization's website and (60) days will be allowed for comments.
      • The comments will be responded to by the relevant technical committees, and the project will then be re-announced for (30) days after the amendments.
      • After the deadline, the project will be presented to the technical committee for approval and submission to the Board of Directors.
Second: Issuing the approved Palestinian standard.
    • After the project is approved by the Board of Directors, the Palestinian standard is officially issued.
    • The specification number and title are published in the Official Gazette and on the institution's website.
    • The institution notifies the relevant authorities of the approved specifications.
