"Graduation of a training course in the field of internal auditing on quality management systems ."

The Standards and Metrology Institution concluded today, Sunday, a training course in the field of internal auditing on management systems according to the requirements of the international standard "ISO 19011," which was implemented in two phases. The first phase included 25 participants, and 13 participants from the Institution and the Anti-Corruption Commission progressed to the second phase, during which evaluation tests were conducted. The participants in the second phase successfully passed the evaluation tests accredited by the IRCA Register.
The course aims to train participants to efficiently carry out various types and stages of auditing processes to improve the quality of services provided by the institution or the commission.
His Excellency Minister Raed Radwan, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, emphasized the importance of applying quality management systems to implement internal auditing and deliver services with professionalism and high quality.
Radwan also praised the role of the Institution in supporting the Commission in applying quality management systems internally, aiming to meet the requirements of the international standard and obtain certification before the end of the year.
Eng. Haidar Hajjeh, Director General of the Standards and Metrology Institution, stressed the importance of holding training courses to raise awareness and qualify personnel within the institution and across national institutions in general, so they can bear a high level of responsibility and effectively apply and implement quality management systems according to the standard's requirements.
Hajjeh also pointed out the significance of applying quality management systems in institutions to enhance the quality of services provided to the Palestinian people.
In turn, Eng. Yasmin Abu Bakr, Executive Director of Mak International, thanked the Institution for its commitment to developing the professional skills of workers and emphasized the importance of this course, noting that the participants are now technically capable of practicing internal auditing within or outside their institutions.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the participants.
