"Palestinian Standards Institution Participates in Metrology Conference and Exhibition in Moscow"

The Palestinian Standards Institution participated in the Metrology Conference and Exhibition held in the Russian capital, Moscow, on the sidelines of the Russian Standards Authority’s Scientific Measurement Day celebration. The event showcased the latest measurement devices in Russia.

A bilateral meeting was held between the two parties during which they agreed on an executive program for the cooperation memorandum. This program includes starting work on mutual recognition of certificates for a targeted group of products. The Palestinian Standards Institution will also be supplied with a set of calibration devices needed to develop its capabilities in this field, along with establishing a training program for the institution’s staff.

The Palestinian side was represented at the meeting by the Institution’s Director General, Eng. Haider Hajjeh, the Director of Metrology, Eng. Youssef Ghazi, and a representative from the Palestinian Embassy in Russia, Counselor Dr. Fareed Shaalan.
