Director General of the Standards Institution Participates in the Russia and Islamic World Development Conference

The Director General of the institution, Eng. Haider Hajjeh, participated in the Russia and Islamic World Development Conference held in Kazan, Tatarstan from May 17 to 19.

Engineer Hajjeh presented a paper on Palestine’s experience in granting Halal certificates for Palestinian products. Additionally, Eng. Hajjeh and the Director of the Metrology Directorate at the institution, Eng. Youssef Ghazi, participated in a roundtable discussion about the issuance of Halal certificates in some Islamic countries.

This participation comes within the framework of the cooperation between the Palestinian Standards Institution and the Russian Standards Authority.
