Campaign to Support and Protect the National Product

Protecting national products is one of the cornerstones of developing industrial production and promoting a culture of supporting local goods. It also involves the formulation of laws and regulations aimed at creating a significant shift in the industrial sector by removing obstacles that hinder the success of local products. The Palestinian Standards and Metrology Institution plays a key role in this effort by establishing a legislative framework that safeguards national products. Just like national laws, these frameworks contribute significantly to encouraging local industry to produce goods that meet standards, enabling Palestinian industries to compete effectively. Accordingly, the Institution launched an awareness campaign to support and promote national products — especially in light of the current circumstances the country is facing. Such efforts have a direct impact on increasing the market share of local products, particularly as the boycott of occupation goods intensifies. This also enhances the competitiveness of national products in both local and regional markets.
